Do you ever have those moments where you want to go back in time to talk yourself through something? If you could pick just one moment in time to back, like a time machine, where you could go and talk with yourself... tell them everything would work ok? That they were strong enough to make it through? Not to tell them anything to change the future or affect their decisions on how to handle it.. just plain old "hey, I know what you're going through, and you know what? I can see what is going to happen and you're going to be just fine. You're strong enough to make it through this. Now wipe your tears and move forward."
Do you ever wish that maybe right now at this point in your life you're going through something hard, and want someone to say that things are going to get better? That you're going to be strong enough to pull through? Someone who knows the outcome and you can trust them?
Well. I assure you that God does not give us anything we cannot handle.
I also assure you that there is someone who has been through exactly what we have been through.
Someone that can say "hey, I know what you're going through, and you know what? I can see what is going to happen and you're going to be just fine. You're strong enough to make it through this. Now wipe your tears and move forward."
Someone that doesn't require a time machine to come tell us.
And that someone is Jesus Christ. He not only bore our sins, but also our pain, suffering, sorrow, sickness, temptations, and more.
This means on the days I'm suffering a painful migraine that lasts for days, he felt those painful days.
This means on the days you feel like you can't possibly go on, he has felt the exact same way.
Don't ever feel like you're alone.
When life gets too hard to stand, kneel.
