So my last post was pretty...lonely. Yesterday was just a bad day. Which we're allowed to have. However, I'm going to try and find five things that make me smile every day.
"What made you suddenly so optimistic about life?"
Well. I got an email today from my best friend who gave me an assignment. "I want you to read 2 Nephi 9:39. Take the first letter out of the last 5 words in that verse and see what it spells. I want you to do that every single day." So today I noticed when I smiled and kept track of my blessings. Today went by much better than yesterday.
I started off my day with Ray William Johnson. He's on You Tube and he reviews other videos on you tube that get a lot of views.. and basically makes fun of them. The videos are always quite hilarious and he has funny things to say about each one. However, for those of you who are parents, don't watch him with your kids around. Or if you get offended easily.. you probably shouldn't watch him.. he may be crude but that was smile #1 for me today.
Smile #2 was receiving that email and looking up the scripture. In case you're too lazy or don't have a Book of Mormon, it spells out the world SMILE.
Smile #3 was discovering my future wedding photographer. I had to use my stalking skills but I found him! His name is Scott Jarvie. He's great. For real though.. I added him as a friend on facebook and he started talking to me about MY photography and said if I ever needed help I could pick his brain! Do you realize how giddy this small conversation was? From a photographer who charges $3500 on a wedding? No big deal right? Nah... ps. check out his site jarviedigital.com
Smile #4 was seeing my two twin sisters tonight after work. They were both so cute tonight! I helped give them their baths and do their hair. They're growing up too fast.
Smile #5 was coming home and getting into my extra large pjs. The shirt is a band t-shirt of my favorite band RED and the bottoms are comfy guys adidas sweats. Oh how I love going to sleep these days!
What did you smile about today?
Basically...I love this post! I feel much more optimistic about life now! I love you! I'll have to try it too :)
